The concrete filled steel tube (CFST) refers to a composite material which is formed by steel tube filled with concrete. For its good ductility, high bearing capacity, superior aseismic performance and other characteristics, the concrete filled steel tube structure is widely used in high-rise buildings. In recent years, the theoretical research and compute application have been mature. However, study on the seismic performence of concrete filled steel tube frame-shear wall system is still lack.Depending on "CFST uniform theory", based on the past study, the seismic performance of the new structure system has been further discussed.First of all, the CFST frame-shear wall structure and reinforced concrete frame-shear wall structure are used as two schemes, to compare the anti-seismic performance, analyzed by SAP2000.Then, to conduct modal analysis on the model, analyze their vibration characteristics and compare to its change, as the foundation of the analysis of the seismic further.Third, to compare the seismic performances of the two structures in elastic seismic analysis under slight earthquake by response spectrum method. Finally, to compare the seismic performances of the two structures in elasto-plastic seismic analysis under rare earthquake by dynamic time history method.By the finite element analysis method and comparing the linear and nonlinear results of the two kinds of schemes, the results prove that, there are such significant advantages in the bearing capacity, deformation characteristics, hysteresis energy consumption.
