According to the need for lightening of cars and the extensive use of high strength steel, traditional stamping mold design methode has been difficult to satisfy the new design requirements. Facing the automotive stamping mold market competitive situation, it has become very important to shorten design cycle and promote design quality. But as the mould structure became more complicated, solving scale became even bigger, just rely on computer hardware technology improvements cannot satisfy the product design efficiency requirements already. It is necessary that introduces real-time calculation method into the design process of automotive stamping mold, which can greatly shorten the optimization design cycle. In recent decades, many scholars have been studied lots of real-time calculation method, and hav obtained many achievements, but there are still many problems is worth further investigation. This paper studied reduced-basis method, and the reduced-basis method was firstly adopted automotive stamping mold structure analysis, finally genetic algorithm was combined to optimize mould structure parameters.Around the issues of reduced-basis method and the automotive stamping mold design, main research content and innovation of the paper include:1. The basic principle of reduced-basis method was studied, and parameters were extracted by combining the affine mapping, then the calculate process was divided into online and offline two stages, finally the error estimation research and calculating examples proved the feasibility of this method.2. A new automotive stamping mold structure analysis method was developed based on the reduced-basis method, and taken an example to illustrate it. This method including the analysis of sheet metal forming and the forming force mapping to mold surface, extracting the design parameters through the affine mapping, and finally completing reduced-basis analysis process.3. This paper proposed genetic algorithm to optimize the automotive stamping mold structure design, and each iteration adopted reduced-basis method to analyze the mold structure. This optimization design greatly improved optimization efficiency, shorten the product design cycle, and the increased product competitiveness.
