Polyvinyl Alcohol-Engineered Cementitious Composite (PVA-ECC) technology is a new method used to reinforce the concerte structure and masonry structure.Depending on the fine physical properties of the materials and the fine cohesion of the boundary agent, both the forrocement layer and the pre-component work harmoniously as a whole to achieve desirable reinforcing effect.By means of test on the full-scale beams, this thesis will make contributions to the acquired achievements. As a part of series of studies on high toughness fiber mortar strengthened reinforced concrete beams, this thesis provides a good trial basis and theoretical analysis of the reinforced concrete beams with PVA-ECC.Through the shear tests of 2 contrast beams and 4 strengthened beams, the infection, come from different shear span ratio and different form of one-off and secondary load,to ultimate bearing capacity of reinforeced beams, failure pattern, diagonal crack width, deflection, the stirrup strain the has been studied.By using ANSYS software nonlinear fem analysis, through the simulation test results and experimental results contrast, are further analyzed and verified PVA-ECC reinforcement method of the rationality and validity.Through several shear capacity calculation model of RC beams analysis the reinforcement mechanism of PVA-ECC technology.Through calculation and analysis, give simple pracical shear capacity calculation formula of RC beams reinforced with PVA-ECC,and compared with the test results. At last, analyzed the change of diagonal crack width of the reinforced RC beams, and make a comparative analysis between diagonal crack width and corresponding characteristics load, thus from the diagonal crack width understanding the tress state of strengthened RC beams, facilitate in actual project appraisal shear stress state of component after reinfored.
