| As the concrete structure and masonry structure of the new reinforcementtechnology, Polyvinyl Alcohol-Engineered Cementitious Composite (PVA-ECC)technology takes advantage of good physical and mechanical properties(such as goodcrack resistance),and it ensures the integrity of the reinforcement layer and thestrengthened component through the interface corresponding handling(including theinterface agent and the shear pins and other measures). It ensures interoperabilitybetween the two and achieves commom resistance force. This method is simple, itsmaneuverability is strong, and it has the higher price. This paper uses4beams including2contrast beams and2beams strengthenedwith PVA-ECC,and strengthened beams of these are primary bearing beam. Thisexperiment selects the overhanging beam as the force model by test of heavybasket loading method. On the test it analysises of different shear span ratio of beamsincluding variation of diagonal crack, failure pattern, deflection and strain. It analysisof the mechanical properties of test beams and reinforced beams comparatively. It shows that this reinforced method can impove the shear stiffness of beamsand load-bearing capacity by experiments. The rangeability of shear capacity relatesto shear span ratio, and the strength of larger ratio increased significantly. Thereinforcement layer and the reinforced structure work better, and it not only delayescracks effectively but also restricts cracks of collection and the development speed ofcrack. On the basis of theoretical analysis and experimental results it uses thetruss-arch model principle and the computational formula of the shear load capacity ofoverhanging RC beams strengthened with PVA-ECC is established. By comparisonthe calculated results fit well with the experimental results, and it provide atheoretical reference for actual engineering designs. Finally ABAQUS software is used for nonlinear finite element analysis, thetest beams model of finite element are tested Simulatly. By comparing the results oflaboratory tests and finite element simulation testresults, verify the practicality andreliability of PVA-ECC reinforcement method. Simultaneously it analysis of the shearresistance of strengthening mechanism. |
