The Analysis On Design Strategy Of University Campus Cultural Landscape

University, as the temple of human knowledge, is a place of creating culture, and the culture is the spiritual pillar of the university. The cohesion of a university is built on the basis of the rich cultural heritage. However, university administrators accustomed to decomposition of the campus landscape elements, make it subordinate to the campus planning and campus building system when creating it. In the limited campus landscape construction practicing, builders of university concern more about the material form of the tangible campus landscape, including the constitutional elements of the landscape and the spatial scale, proportion, sequence, color and style , etc. When referring to the expression of the intangible campus cultural connotation , the attention is not enough. Campus landscapes features is being missed, culture atmosphere and a sense of campus attribution is gradually being lost. Therefore,how to embody a campus of its own historical and cultural features,how to build campus culture landscape has become a universal concern.Cut from the elements of campus culture connotation perspective, from the campus core values, local culture, behavior patterns, arts culture and other cultural sub-perspective, this article explores the demands made by the design of the cultural landscape of college campuses. Which can then make use of these conclusions, combined with the investigation and analysis of campus cultural landscape of the prestigious Peking University which has a long history , and ultimately sums up the corresponding university campus culture landscape design methods and strategies.This paper first discusses the basic concepts of the campus culture, campus landscape, campus cultural landscape, based on mutual penetration of space, psychological and behavioral theory, it was guided to analyze the relationship between the campus culture and campus landscape, initially come to that campus cultural landscape depends on the campus culture, campus culture landscape permeated with the campus culture, to provide theoretical guidance for the next in-depth to explore the design of the campus cultural landscape from the point of view of the campus culture.Investigating the formation course of the Peking University campus landscape,the overall landscape pattern and temperament characteristics; campus buildings, water, rocks, sketches, plants and other campus cultural landscape elements on the design characteristics of its cultural connotations, analyzing how they are in harmony with the surrounding environment symbiosis and their processing approach to provide a reference for the university campus cultural landscape design .University campus cultural landscape should be designed as an important part and the necessary link of the campus landscape planning and design .Thus on the basis of the analysis of the overall layout of the campus landscape, the article sums up how to grasp the overall structure of the layout of the campus cultural landscape and the space level. when specifically analyze campus culture landscape design strategy, the article discusses from six cultural sub-elements to sum up the campus culture landscape design method and strategy.
