In order to adopt the battle model in modern wars, a large number of normal projectiles,which were stored in peacetime, must be changed into precision attacking ammunition. Manylow cost and simple control methods were proposed and came into practise. For example:thelow cost GPS/IMU guidance technology, the impulse motor, resistance ring and canards wereutilized to control the trajectory. The related technologies of a new roll canards control systemwere studied in this thesis.Firstly, the scheme of 2-D trajectory correction system was designed, the workingsequence of this system in the attack process was analyzed, the structure of the system waspreliminarily designed, and the assembly relationship among the parts was also pointed out.Secondly, the flight control strategy of projectile was studied, the method, which was utilizedto calculate the stable control angle and initial control time based on the attack point error,was proposed. An interpolation method with various steps was also provided. The precision ofstable control angle could be limited in a little range with this method. According to theaerodynamics forces and moments of canards and projectile in the flight process, the flightdynamic model of projectile under controlling was built as well. The c++ builder softwarewas used to program, the control ability and control precision was simulated and analyzed, theresult showed that the algorithm was reasonable. All the results in this thesis could provideconferences for the roll control system design and control strategy research.
