The aero-engine is the core part of the aircraft, which plays a very important role inflight safety. If the engine fails and does not meet the appropriate airworthiness, it willremove and repair the engine. At this time, the most important core task for the airlines is todetermine the maintenance level of engine according to the wing condition monitorinformation of the aero-engine. Generally, the higher repair rating, the higher correspondingrepair costs. At present, because of the domestic airline lacking of the reasonable controlmethod for maintenance level, the corresponding repair time and material costs increasesubstantially and thus it caused a huge waste to the airline. The maintenance level planning isthoroughly discussed in this paper, so as to make the maintenance level and workscopescientific and properly.This article mainly has following four parts: The first part is mainly to analyze the maininfluence factors affecting the engine maintenance level. The second part is in depth study ofthe core problem of maintenance level. And the core problem of optimization is raised that,when the remaining fatigue life of engine life limited part tries to match the engineperformance attenuation, the maintenance decision is the best. Based on this core issue andfirstly, according to the CFM56-3 engine performance changing condition, which synthesizedin a function and then judge engine repair the target EGTM. Then establish the LLP matchwith the performance model to gets replacement list of module. Finally, combined issued byreason of the engine replacement and the AD / SB shows the initial maintenance level ofmodule. In the third part, in the case of meeting the target EGTM to establish maintenancedecision model of aero-engine based on cost optimization. In the last part, take CFM56engine for example, combined with the module of CFM56 engine performance restoration byCFMI and established maintenance decision model of CFM56 engine based LINGO, on thebasis of initial repair level of each module using LINGO programming solving to draw thefinal maintenance level .Thus it provides the initial reference for the engineers in the actualdevelopment of maintenance level decision-making process.
