The Research And Development Of Marine Desalination Plant Simulation Operating System

With the improvement of marine technology and reduced manning of ships and the safety factors of great importance, improving the quality of seafarers has become the consensus of the maritime sector. In order to improve the quality of seafarers, the most important point is to strengthen the training of the actual equipment in the ship, marine desalination device occupies an important position in the ship equipment, and play an important role in protection of ship fresh water supply, increasing the amount of load and ship endurance, so we should strengthen desalination plant in operation training to improve the application ability of the crew.Based on " the 2010 amendments to the 1978 International Convention on Standards of Training,Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers " (hereinafter referred to as the STCW78/10 convention)Promulgated by the International Maritime Organization and " 2011 People’s Republic of China ship crew competency exam and certification rules" (hereinafter referred to as "rule 11 ")by the Chinese Maritime Safety Administration, and ocean-going vessels typical of marine desalination unit for the study, we developed a new generation of marine desalination plant simulation operating system, completed the following research work:1. Established marine desalination plant of heat and mass transfer process of mathematical model and network hydraulic calculation model, And with Visual Studio NET 2008 for development platform, C# for development language, designed and implemented simulation system of marine desalination plant. Simulation tests indicated that the system can accurately calculate the parameters dynamic process in desalination unit (including but not limited to the cylinder water outlet temperature, cooling water temperature, vacuum of sea water desalination device, fresh water capacity, fresh water temperature, water salinity, water level, pressure, etc) dynamics, it can be used as an important part of simulation system for marine engine room simulator.2. Developed the automatic assessment system that can fully to track operations and basic troubleshooting on sea water desalination device for all operators, and the operation of the actual operating level will be a more accurate assessment. The simulation operating system can meet the requirements of the IMO and Maritime Safety Administration, and meet the needs of the ocean shipping company in talents training and knowledge update, it has a certain practical value in training of ship engineer.
