The complexity and importance of the bridge structure make the bridge construction safety and construction accuracy cause for-great concern, espeeially the construction safety and stability of high pier and long-span bridge is directly related to the success and use performance of the project. Studies have shown that the bridge construction monitoring is an important technique to bridge construction safety and quality assurance, and has been widely used in a number of important bridges engineering at home and abroad in recent years.Relying on the aetual project, in this paper the real-time monitoring system to the high pier of the high pier and long span continuous rigid frame bridge construction period is established. Based on the monitoring system, the stress, deformation and stability of the high pier of continuous rigid frame bridge structure construction period is focused on and the technical assurance of the safety of the bridge construction period is provided. Then the nonlinear factors is considered, the stability of the high pier under Maximum Cantilever Construction is analyzed. The research results have important scientific significance to improve the level of bridge health monitoring and avoid major engineering accident. The main content is as follows:(1) The establish of construction monitoring system for the high pier of continuous rigid frame bridgeIn order to guarantee the safety of the continuous rigid frame bridge during construction period, a monitoring system is established through laying of stress, temperature and other sensors at the critical cross-section and monitoring the wind load characteristics of the environment in view of the high pier and long span continuous rigid frame bridge structure characteristics. This monitoring system will monitor the stress and deformation of the continuous rigid frame bridge during construction period, find in time the unusual circumstances and put forward early warning, provide technical support for the safety and stability.(2) The stress analysis of the high pier of continuous rigid frame bridge during construction periodBased on the measured data of the built monitoring system, the stress and deformation laws of the high pier are researched during the different construction period, focusing on the temperature distribution of the different side of the pier wall, and that of inside and outside of the pier wall, and the impact of the high pier stress. The law of wind farms of location of the project is studied according to the measured wind data in the past year, in order to provide wind load data for the stability analysis of the continuous rigid frame bridge during construction period under the most unfavorable state.(3) Numerical analysis of stability of the continuous rigid frame bridge based on the non-linear under the most unfavorable construction stateNumerical model(maximum cantilever) of the continuous rigid frame bridge is established under the most unfavorable construction state based on finite element principle. The stability of the continuous rigid frame bridge is researched respectively by considering the geometric nonlinearity, material nonlinearity and double nonlinear.
