The railway passenger hub station is the place of connecting internal and external traffic of city, it provides the place for distribution of passengers, for different traffic modes and directions of passenger, could achieve the conversion of traffic function. Through various means of transportation coordination and terminal facilities functions into full play to improve the passenger’s transfer efficiency, railway passenger hub in the city transportation system plays a decisive role, should reasonable planned and designed to solve the problem of traffic jams, improving passenger terminal transfer efficiency is crucial.In this paper, first of all, domestic and foreign integrated transport terminal for research and practice are studied. On basis of this, the paper analysis the Chinese railway passenger hub station system. Researching its components, transfer types, the basic principles of transfer, transfer line organization, and other aspectsThen the paper puts forward the thought of the railway passenger hub station’s passenger flow forecast, discuss the passenger’s influencing factors, and introduces the transfer flow forecasting methods. The paper proposes the method for forecasting railway passenger hub station flow, which is used by BP Neural Network, on the basis of this, use the theory of gravity model to forecast the traffic distribution in different traffic modes for passenger flow. Based on the survey, the paper calculate the capacity of the transfer path, and to determine the road impedance function, on the basis of this, according to the distribution of traffic flow theory, to predict the traffic distribution. The use of Trans CAD traffic planning software to realize the traffic flow distribution, can intuitively reflect the passengers transfer case. Lastly, takes Beijing west railway station for example, forecast the Beijing west railway station terminal’s volume of passenger and combination of gravity model to obtain the volume of different transportation, assigning the passenger, analysis the different traffic modes of transfer, to put forward the improvement measures.
