| The Line-start Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (LSPMSM) can be madeby putting the permanent magnet in induction motors’ rotors. And it can start throughthe torque which generated by rotor squirrel-cage.The Line-start PMSM has typicaladvantages such as smaller bulk, lighter weight, higher efficiency and power factor ina wide load range etc. Today the energy issues is more and more serious, the line-startPMSM is up to the national guideline of " energy-saving "so it will has a wide rangeof application.Some achievements of the studies of line-start PMSM have beenapplied on industrial occasions, and achieved good energy saving effect. However,due to the complex configuration of Line-start PMSM, it is very hard to get accuratecalculation for the Line-start PMSM and design it quite intricacy. What’s more, somespecial problems such as the optimize design the size of magnet and choose thestructure of magnetic pole is also the difficulty of the design of Line-start PMSM.Optimize design of Line-start PMSM is not perfect, so it has not been a large range ofpromotion and application.In this article, access to a large number literatures, based on the characteristic ofthe configuration and magnetic field of Line-start PMSM, the methods of optimizedesign of Line-start PMSM is in-depth researched. First this thesis presents thedifferent structural forms and its traits of Line-start PMSM, analysis the operatingprinciple and magnetic characteristics of this motor. Then focusing on the designprocesses and design methods of the Line-start PMSM. Giving the motorelectromagnetic design process and using the methods make a preliminary design ofthis motor. In order to save the costs and simplify the machining process, the authoradopts the induction motor’s (Y100L1-4) stator windings and base; re-design the rotorto achieve the motor’s performance improvement. Finally, the electromagnetic field of the design sample has been analyzed andoptimized in detail by the finite element analysis software ANSOFT. The effect ofpermanent magnet size to motors’ performance, the cogging torque, starting current,anti-electric and its harmonic had been analysis in this paper. The results of comparedwith the induction motor indicates that the electromagnetism design is appropriate andthat the performance is excellent to accord with the request of design. The researchachievements have practical values. |
