With traditional industry upgrading and emerging industries appeared, AC servo motor and drive needs more and more. Servo motor general has the following characteristics:Wide speed range, Large torque output, Good position control ability, To start, brake and the frequent; and positive inversion etc. Higher deceleration capability, In all the speed within the scope of the stable operation ability, The dynamic response of the good performance, etc. The permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) adaptation High-performance servo drive specially, Along with the development of high performance magnetic materials and declining prices, permanent magnet motors have been used more and more widely, has become the mainstream of servo system.This paper presents the various rotor structures; analyzes the characteristic of the magnetic circuit and the operating principle, emphasizes on analysis of the armature reaction and calculation of reactance parameters. With this subject is to match the driver Id=0 control mode, the design that must be considered when motor control mode, the motor in the control mode to design requirements.Because of PMSM complicated structures, it's difficult to get accurate calculation for the PMSM, so the design of PMSM is quite complex.. Need to find its design rules. To discusses the effects on Fractional Slot/Pole PMSM with different winding layers and slot/pole combinations, and applied the results to the design of motor in the subject.For Id=0 control mode, the work of permanent magnet synchronous motor characteristics and the design idea of design procedure, the research and discussion. We developed the electromagnetism design software by RMxprt. Then the electromagnetic field of the design sample is analyzed in detail by the finite element analysis software Maxwell 2D. In basis of 2D finite element analysis of motor, optimize the motor, so as to meet the technical requirements. After analyzing and processing of inertia and the dynamic performance of motor. Finally introduces the skew pole of permanent magnet synchronous motor, and application to application in design of motor.
