ZhouKou Guandi Temple also known as Guildhall is one of the fourth group of NationalesKulturdenkmal published on November20,1996. Architecture of ZhouKou Guandi Temple was mostlybegun in Qing Dynasty. It is extremely palatial architecture of rich verve, which is the distinct local styleof ancient building group with symmetrical structure,A two-row courtyard,and the back garden along theaxis of the north and south of two points.ZhouKou Guandi Temple, as an existing a few ancient building groups with combination oftemple-hall, has the high historical value and artistic value and scientific value. It is necessary to roundlyinvestigate the buildings, Firstly, providing a detailed set of base material for the researchers later, secondly,studying the method of traditional architecture and inheriting and carrying forward the traditional culture.The special historical and geographical environment of ZhouKou Guandi Temple is introduced.Based on the actual surveying and mapping, field investigation and consulting literature materials,historical and cultural background and the construction of the historical evolution, location, and overalllayout are analyzed from archtecture. Through studying every single building, space environment, thelayout of the group building and space form are distinct. On the basis of the actual surveying, mappingfigure and collecting material, it compares the main buildings and the details of different buildings ofZhouKou Guandi Temple and discusses the part of individual building construction characteristics. Bycomparing the study of single building to Rules and Examples of construction in the Qing Dynasty, thetemple construction technique is clear-cut.Finally, it considers historical value, science value, the artistic value and practical significance of ZhouKou Guandi Temple. From the perspective of cultural relics, that the protection is not only the repairgenerally is put forward. Its historical value should be protected, at the same time according to thecharacteristics of its own, the rational use of methods should have been discussed to adapt to the needs ofmodern social sustainable ecological protection and development.
