To meet the needs of the traditional rolling-stock, the Medium-sized and high power chargers are changed lightweighter and powerer now, switching frequency must be improved in power electronic devices. Therefore, a soft-switching resonant converter is based on the trend, the switching losses and switching noise are reduced, and the switching frequencies are improved.The current doubler rectifier circuit to shift the phase full-bridge zero-voltage PWM converter topology is made of the high-speed EMU in this paper. The energy of the secondary filter inductor switch zero-voltage switching works are full used in a wide load range. The duty cycle loss is overcomed by reducing the leakage inductance of the transformer primary sid. Zero-voltage conditions are achieved by taking advantage of the rectifier diode converter.therefore, the reverse recovery voltage spikes arereduced. The principle of the converter work is analysised through rigorous reasoning in this paper. Key device parameter values of the main circuit are optimized. Soft-switching turn-off of the power devices is achieved. The choices of the parameters are given.Phase-shifted full-bridge current doubler rectifier converter is analyzed, given the12Operational Modal equivalent circuits and voltage and current formula. From the analysis shows that soft switching of the converter are achieved in a wide range of light load to full load, The oscillation of the secondary side duty cycle loss and the secondary diode are eliminated by natural converter of the secondary rectifier diode. A high-frequency transformer and filter inductor are designed in the paper. In order to verify the working principle of the analysis, the converter of EMU charger products of output29V/560A is tested experimental, acquisition waveforms and data are analysised. Key components in optimizing selection of the main circuit to ensure the device is scheduled to meet the technical conditions, the final experimental results are presented. The results showed that:In this paper, the design of high-speed EMU main circuit of the charger can be used in the actual project, with certain engineering applications.
