According to the design of a cable-stayed bridge of450m mainspan with inclined towers and hybrid girder across the Wulanmulun River in E’erduosi, a finite element model is established based on beam elements, and a detailed model of the inclined A-shape towers established based on plate elements. Then the structural analysis of entire bridge and detailed A-shape towers are carried out.Firstly, the characteristics and development of cable-stayed bridge with inclined towers and that with hybrid girder are reviewed respectively, Then using MIDAS/CIVIL2010software, the spatial finite element model of entire bridge based on beam elements is established, and the static performance in both construction and operation stages of the bridge are studied; The natural vibration characteristics of this bridge are computed, and the dynamic responses and the aseismic performance of the bridge are analyzed using spectrum analysis and time-history dynamic analysis respectively, under seismic in direction of transverse, longitudinal and vertical as well as their action combination with dead load; Thirdly, the stability eigenvalues and instability modes of the bridge in construction stages under the action of dead load and wind load, and Those in operation stage under action of dead load and moving load, are analyzed. Finally, using the general finite element software ALGOR, a detailed model of the inclined A-shape towers based on plate elements is established, and the deformation and stress are analyzed under dead load and its combination with four groups of unfavorable cable forces. Based on above analysis, the modified design of anchor boxes is presented, and its structural analysis is carried out futherly.Overall, the static characteristic, eigenvalue stability and the aseismic performance of this kind of bridge, the structural performances of inclined A-shape tower and complex anchor boxes are understood. The structural analysis method of complex bridges with the help of finite element software is mastered by the author.
