With the rapid development of wind power industry, intertidal zone, because of its large scales of commercial development and abundant wind energy resources, has gradually became the focus of new source energy. Due of the influence of the tide, common construction equipment can’t meet the requirement of this harsh environment. So there is an urgent need for a dedicated device that suitable for the construction in intertidal zone. Wagon articulated tracked vehicle with a good capacity of flexible steering, strong large cargo carrying capacity, is an ideal choice for the construction in the intertidal zone, but there are few less about the wagon steer, neither mathematical models nor research methods can learned in home and abroad. This paper takes the transport technology of wind power equipment on intertidal zone as the engineering background, summarizes the development status of articulated tracked vehicles in both home and abroad. It takes the LYC-150articulated tracked vehicle, jointly developed by Dalian University of Technology and DHI·DCW Group Co., Ltd., as an example, establish the the mathematical model of the wagon steer articulated tracked vehicle, dased on the characteristics of the tracked vehicle, and made numerical solution. Use collaborative modeling and simulation technology to build hydraulic model in AMESim, and multi-body dynamics model in RecurDyn. Call AMESim and RecurDyn simultaneously under the circumstance of Simulink to build the mechanical electrical and hydraulic model of articulated tracked vehicle. According to the comparison with experiment, simulation and theoretical calculation, the simulation is reliable and theoretical calculation is reasonable.According to this study, the application of mechanical electrical and hydraulic co-simulation technology can provide a reliable method for hydraulic system design and optimization of wagon articulated tracked vehicle. Steady steering derived mathematical model and co-simulation method used in this paper can also provide a certain reference for the future design and improvement of the relevant vehicle.
