The wind power generator is a mechanism transforming wind energy to electric energy. According to the mature technology, rapid development of the industry and relatively low cost, electric power generation using wind power is viewed as the main form to make use of the wind power. Especially when confronting the newly global energy crisis, the wind power generation represents a great potential. This paper is concentrating on a new type of wind power system with hydraulic transmission system. Using hydraulic transmission instead of gear box is able to resolve the problem of the high failure rate of gear transmission; with the assistance of the hydraulic flexible transmission, problems, such as the excessive volume and mass of direct-drive motor and inverter, and high manufacturing cost can be overcome. The main purpose of this paper is to put forward a new method stabilizing the output voltage of motor, and to analyze the practicality of hydraulic energy transfer and velocity control of the hydraulic motor in power generation device. The main contents and conclusions are followed:Due to the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of wind power generation styles, the principle of hydraulic transmission system employed is discussed; in this case, hydraulic system is devised and hydraulic components and generator are selected; the mathematical models of hydraulic wind power system are established completing the hydraulic motor velocity control through AMESim-Simulink co-simulation analysis. In this co-simulation analysis, the control system stabilizes the motor speed at1500r/min; different control strategies are introduced and compared, and fuzzy control algorithm is selected. The control method is capable of reducing the motor speed overshoot, adjustment time, and steady-state error. With this method, the system reaches the target speed faster, possessing an effective guarantee of the stable output of the hydraulic motor in different wind speeds. From the analysis, the hydraulic wind power system is feasible in principle; the output velocity of hydraulic motor can be stabilized in different wind speeds. The system provides excellent characteristics for improving the stability of the generator voltage. This paper is a significant attempt on the application of hydraulic system in wind power. The method provides a reference for similar problems.
