Along with economic development, ownership and liquidity of the car has increased significantly, leading to the problem of traffic congestion, accidents increased. Electronic Toll Collection ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) system integrates cutting-edge technology of radio frequency identification RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, modern electronics, modern network communications, more effective to improve tresource use efficiency of the transpor, reduce traffic congestion. With the extensive application of the ETC sys tem in traffic, the reliability and consistency of the key equipment in the ETC system in the ETC system is particularly important, how fast and accurate testing of the OBU and RSU of the key equipment becomes more and more important in the ETC system,. Miniaturization, low power, portable test instrument research and development has a strong demand for the development and testing of the ETC system and can play an important role.This research work is to design the detector of the DSRC equipment, small size, low cost, low power consumption, easy to carry and can easily communicate with RSU and OBU. Due to DSRC device detector mobility, portability, low cost, it can be widely used in the detection of the key equipment OBU and RSU of the ETC system, in order to promptly identify problems quickly.The thesis first proposed the overall design of the DSRC device detector system, and proposed the design of the sub-systems framework DSRC device detector, made a careful design of the sub-systems and the course of their work. The entire system includes the RF transceiver circuit, the baseband circuit, data transmission circuit, and the host computer software. Study on the functional requirements of the RF transceiver, Studied the RF transceiver modules, RF transceiver circuit consists of separate integrated device,and studied impedance matching in RF circuit. Study the working principle and parameter design of the antenna, in accordance with the test requirements and structural features of the RSU and OBU, and designed a microstrip antenna. Studied the FMO Codec and the DSRC protocol, based on STR715FR0chip, design the baseband circuit and the data analysis circuit. Introduced a way to complete communication of DSRC device detector with the PC host computer.The actual run and test results the RF transceiver circuit, the baseband signal generation and data analysis circuit of DSRC equipment detector, the PC host computer software to achieve their respective functions, The data of the OBU and RSU can be received by the DSRC equipment detector, parsed and displayed. DSRC devicet detector is stable and reliable, low power consumption, can provide quick and easy detection of the key equipment of ETC to ensure the reliability and consistency of the ETC key equipment, it is able to promote the rapid development of the ETC system.
