In the ETC(Electronic Toll Collection) industry, as the DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communications) equipment production expanded sharply, it has important and profound meaning to improve product quality. Our country is still in the primary stage of the development in the intelligence transportation realm, but there is still not a high-efficiency test equipment that dedicated to the DSRC equipment. Based on this application background, this paper does research and development on the DSRC comprehensive performance testing instruments that dedicated to the electronic no-waiting toll collection system.The main content of this paper includes:Analyze the functions and system requirements of the system, and then propose the overall design scheme;This paper firstly gives a deeply research on the hardware design according to the requirements of the system, which includes:the RF module, the signal processing module, the data transmission module and the PC 104 module;Introduce the software framework briefly and then explain the firmware design method of the USB interface chip in detail;Analyze the realization of the system functions through the Software and hardware alignment.This design mainly realize three functions:simulating the DSRC equipment used in the ETC system, link correspondence test and transaction agreement analysis between RSU and OBU. This testing instrument has widely applications in the ETC system and it also plays an important role on the quality of the update and improvement of the DSRC products.
