With the rapid development of the Chinese economy, the high-power converter and AC drive system is widely used in many areas. And with high-power power electronic devices more and more towards the development of the technical aspects of modular, integrated, high voltage, high current, high frequency technology, the strength requirements of energy conservation and environmental protection in our country gradually increasing,the high-voltage high-power Frequency Control Device also continue to mature and has been widely used in many areas.At present, due to the H-bridge series multi-level low input current harmonics, high input power factor, low harmonic content of output voltage,small dv/dt, small torque ripple and so on. the multilevel topology has gradually become the research focus of the high-voltage frequency inverter, and become more and more widely in many applied fields. Based on the unit H bridge series cell multi-levels topology structure,the thesis takes Perfect Harmony high voltage inverter as the study object to fulfill the detailed elaboration and design of the parts of the high voltage inverter and function,to achieved the main controller’s software and hardware design which made by double DSP, and to completed the real-time control of SPWM wave and the speed regulation control of frequency converter, so the inverter can be controlled and run in a safe and stable operation.In this paper, the thesis research the high voltage inverter which used in the power inverter speed control system, analyzed the development and current status of the high voltage inverter, compared and introduced several multi-level circuit topological structure and their characteristics, and then, obtained the unit H bridge series cell multi-levels topological structure, it’s output waveform was closer to a sine wave, easily controlled by digital, and able to met the requirements of high frequency control system. This article had simulation by MATLAB/Simulink software, as well analyzed, simulated, compared the common modulation techniques such as the stepped-wave modulation method, the carrier vertical phase-shifting method and carrier level phase-shifting method. the composition of the different converter component parts:Transformer cabinet, Power cabinet, Bypass ark, Control cabinet were detailed described and realized. This paper introduced control cabinet’s software and hardware, which were mainly constituted by Monitoring DSP and Control DSP, take a series of the chip selection analysis and the overall hardware circuit and software features were analyzed and designed,the hardware included dual DSP peripheral circuits, fiber optic circuit, D/A converter circuit, system communications part of the circuit and so on, the software includes the functional design of Control DSP, the power unit module design, the communication between the DSP and the monitor screen,and so on. Finally, we tested the design of the Perfect Harmony high-voltage inverter, and we got the output waveform and the energy-saving analysis for the design of high voltage inverter.
