Fuel cell is a new type of renewable energy, which has a unique advantage in fixed power field. It is a popular research object in the current major research organization. It is unable to produce electricity that assembly battery single, you must executive directive according to certain order by controller to make the fuel cell normal operation, it is closely related with the function of the controller. You need to consider mainly stable performance problems when fuel cells as a backup power supply. Therefore this article unified the characteristics of the backup power supply and used a new type of structure, to design and realize the fuel cell controller. The main research contents are as follows:Consider of the complexity of the fuel cell working conditions, the general scheme of the controller design is designed. Explained the various components of the controller system modules and work to make the analysis, and control the amount of output for each module.According to the requirements of the overall program, designed to dsPlC6013a control chip, CPLD output port hardware circuit, including the DA output circuits, CMOS circuits, the CAN module and SCI module circuit. Characteristics of the signal acquisition, design DI acquisition circuits and analog data acquisition circuit, and use the USB port as a communication controller and the PC.Analysis of the needs of the software, the functionality of the software is divided into several modules. MPLAB software platform-based system initialization procedure, the D/A conversion program CAN send and receive program interrupt subroutine, USB procedures.In order to improve the performance of fuel cells, fuel cells as backup power in the boot, run, shutdown mode nonlinear model predictive control strategy. Entire controller circuit is simple, clear structure, high reliability, better demand for fuel cell operation.
