With the development of the society,automobile has become an indispensable transportation in daily life.Along with the increase of vehicle retention,traffic safety draw people’s attention,traffic accidents have become the first killer to people’s life and property.Therefore,automobile safety will be one main direction of automobile development in future.The Vehicle-mounted Head-up Display System this paper studied is a kind of automobile auxiliary visual safe driving system,will project important information that drivers need to windshield,the ray reflected into drivers’eyes by windshield,then,the drivers will see the virtual image above the hood.So,the driver have not to look down at dashboard,eyes alway focus on former vision,will not exist visual blind area because of look down.This paper mainly research the Vehicle-mounted HUD,gives the design principle of the display system;compares the technology of several display device and miniature projection technology,choose the LCOS projection based on LED;choose AT89C51as the core for hardware design,we choose speed as display information,extract hall sensor signal,after process circuit,the signal become square wave pulse signal for single chip microcomputer;use the VGA interface for projection,design the projection circuit based on VGA;design the power supply module based on MC34063and power supply filter;Then,give the methods of EMC;confirm the projection position based on Ergonomics and GB11556-1994;design optical prism to eliminate the parallax;give the method to design the interface based on Ergonomics and Kansei Engineering.This article have got some achievements:(1) The acquisition and processing of hall sensor signal,design information acquisition and processing circuit to convert the hall sensor signal into square wave pulse signal,then the counter8253can count the signal and pass on the results to AT89C51.(2) Designing the VGA circuit driving by the single chip microcomputer according to VGA interface standards,then the output of AT89C51can link the projection through VGA interface.(3) Designing the power supply unit based on DC-DC conversion control chip MC34063and filter circuit. (4) Studying the parallax of HUD,give the calculation formula of the parallax,this paper design a optical prism to eliminate the parallax based on the theory of parallax.(5) This paper give the position of the HUD projection image based on the GB11556-1994and Ergonomics.(6) According to the research of HUD’s interface and colour based on the Ergonomics and Kansei Engineering,the author give the method of designing the interface of HUD.
