Inrecent decades, with the development of science and technology, manufacturing and materialsprocessing technology advances, the emergence of a new class of multifunctional materialswith high specific strength, super-light, high specific stiffness, strength toughness,high-energy absorption finesome of the special nature of the mechanical properties, as well asshock absorption, cushioning and anticollision resistance, heat dissipation, sound absorption,electromagnetic shielding, permeability, etc., which can be used as structural materials formany applications. It aroused wide concern not only used as structural materials in manyapplications, but also used as function materials in some special applications.The sandwich structure is generally composed by the panel and sandwich materials. Inthis paper,the sandwich plate is made up of ultra strength casting945steel, arrange rib platespacing and height as design variable, the quality control equations and the stiffiness controlequations as the objective function, use structural optimization design theory, ensure strutureflexural performance, to advance the structure lightweight optimization design. And obtainedtwo groups best value of the rib spacing and rib height, The first group: the space and heightof rib is75and40mm, respectively; The second group: the space and height of rib is95and45mm, respectively. The influence of face platethickness to quality presents as linear characteristics, when the face plate thickness increase1mm, on the basis of standard group, the quality and stiffness of the model increase of0.1%;on the contrary, to stiffness presents as nonlinear characteristics, the more thickness increase,the larger range of stiffness increase, Panel thickness into a linear characteristic impact on thequality of the sandwich board, panel thickness for each additional1mm, the quality of themodel increased by0.1%in the standard group on the basis of stiffness on the contrary,nonlinear characteristics the greater thickness increases the stiffnessthe greater the rate of increase, the rate of increase from0.1%to0.17%, much higher than0.001%, show that ffaceplate thickness contribution to the model bending behavior is better. And the thicknessdifference between the top and bottom face plate is greater, the stiffness of the sandwich plateis better and stronger bending performance.
