| Pure electric bus, as a kind of ideal clean energy city public traffic tools, has a unique development advantage in China. At present, the pure electric bus exist some problems, such as the battery cost highly, the battery specific energy and specific power is shortage, and the driving range is short, et. As the car driving, the energy consumption is proportional to quality. Then, reduce the quality of bus frame can improve the pure electric bus power energy efficiency. So for the pure electric bus, lightweight design has a significant meaning.This paper analyzes the quick change type pure electric bus and its power battery bearing system designed by the new energy automobile research institute of SDUT. First, based on the current bus frame structure designed, geometry model of the bus through ANSYS has been established. Then, FEM grid model has been generated using highly accurate shell181element.Based on load equivalent modeling method, FEA analysis of air suspension bus under typical operating conditions has been conducted. The modeling method accurately expressed bearing properties of the suspension system, equivalent load of stabilizer bar, thrust rods and air springs has been seriously considered. Finite element analysis of the bus frame has been conducted. Stress distribution and stiffness condition of the bus frame under typical operating conditions has acquired. Modal analysis has also been conducted in order to comprehend the general stiffness and strength properties of the bus frame.Lightweight design for the original structure has conducted by changing thickness of the steel structure, section size, the structure form, et al. Detailed lightweight scheme has been listed in the paper. Testing analysis of lightweight scheme in five typical operating conditions has been conducted. After structure verification and lightweight design, bearing properties of the bus frame meet with the strength requirement, and its dynamic performance had improved, more significantly quality of the bus frame reduced376kg totally.Based on strength theory, a new modeling method of opening-deformation evaluating method has been proposed. Compared with the traditional evaluating method, stress concentration area of window glass can be confirmed, stiffness of the bus frame can be evaluated from another angle. |
