The practical model of the generator is usually used in analysis of power system stability. This model is derived from the original PARK equation. In order to simplify generator model and conveniently obtain generator parameters, the different model equations and its matching practical parameters are obtained in the transformation of original PARK equation model to practical model because of different assumptions. Turbo-generators standard parameters from different assumptions are discussed in this thesis. The research work are shown below:1. Basing on discussing the formation of turbine generator practical model in detail, the impact of the two assumptions on the parameter and the model equations are clarified in this thesis. According to large turbo-generators domestic design standards, some standard parameters for certain300MW turbine generator are calculated. By the analysis of calculation principle, standard parameters theoretical definition under the design calculation and two assumptions do not exist a strict corresponding relation. What’s more, the effect of selecting one of two assumptions standard parameters on the turbine generator transient process is studied in the thesis and there is huge different influence on the field winding current showed by the simulation results when the fault location of three-phase short circuit is at the end of turbo-generator stator.2. The frequency characteristics of operation reactance and under the definition of synchronous reactance are calculated by time-stepping finite element method; Transient standard parameters are identified through the frequency characteristics of operation reactor by the least-squares estimation method. In order to confirm the availability of standard parameters aquired by the above method, dynamic simulation is performed on the model platform of "Single-infinite bus system". Finaly, the further analysis for the standard parameters is made under different assumptions and calculation principle.
