Thermal power plants play a very important role in the energy-saving and pollutant emissions-reducing. In general,more than50%of the heat of the total fuel combustion is lost to the environment with the steam turbine condenser cooling water, the heat is difficult for conventional techniques to use because of its low grade. The heat pump as an energy-efficient equipment, cooling water such a low temperature heat source can just be fitted to it,so the the thermal system of the coupled heating with the absorption heat pump and cogeneration program is proposed.First of all, the efficiency of the absorption heat pump energy is verified by calculating. Secondly, the Aspen Plus models were respectively established based on a300MW cogeneration power plant thermal system and a first lithium bromide absorption heat pump system; through comparing the corresponding calculation and actual data the correct nature and applicability of the models were verified. Thirdly,the coupled model is built based on the actual engineering approach:the extraction from middle pressure cylinder as a driving source of heat is introduced into absorption heat pump, the waste heat is of the circulating cooling water is used by the heat pump.Then the model of the coupled heating system is established.Again, the calculation of the two different extraction conditions and generating power for a unit volume of the coupling system is carried out,the heat load and the maximum heating area are determined in the above conditions.Also the same time the results has improved that in the same condition for the same unit the coupled system can generate much more heat load and be used for more heating areas. Also the condition for the stop of the circulating water cooling towers of a specific power is given.Then, take a300MW generating units as an example, for different heating needs such as100MW.200MW.300MW of power for heat-related calculations, given the specific conditions and the corresponding values of the back pressure and power generation. Finally, the economy and environmental protection of the coupled system are verified by calculation. Ensure the power supply load in the heating load at the same time can save the amount of coal to reduce greenhouse gases and toxic gases and other emissions contributed to the environmental protection.
