Building for the climate, is an important principle of ecological architecturedesign today. For Xinjiang, a hot dry climate zone, because of its unique climatecharacteristics, in theheat of the summer, to the considerable temperature differencebetween North andSouth buildings, as in the shade of the North, the air is cool. South to the lower than in the North to the average3-5℃.If through induced ventilationof the North to cool air into the room, you will clearly improve indoor thermalcomfort, conducive to the reduction of energy consumption of air conditioning insummer. So,how should this induced ventilation can be achieved? Using computationalfluid dynamicsmethods in this article on residential buildings in hot-dry climate zoneventilation characteristics of the numerical simulation of summer. Analysis on indoorthermal environment by airpak software. Study on the factors that influence theinductive ventilation:first, analysis the different set of duct location and height of the room effect ofvelocity field and temperature field.Second, for induced ventilation of the room and the use of natural ventilation andthermal comfort of the room were compared.Third,a exploration on construction of duct size.
