Research content of this paper depends on Wuchuan-sha hydropower station (RCChyperbolic arch dam) in Guizhou province, makes three dimensional numerical analysis ontemperature-stress field in operating period of Wuchuan-sha dam using the internationallarge-general finite element software ANSYS, then makes back analysis for dam and bedrockcombing the actual monitoring data in operation period of Wuchuan-sha, and checks thesafety of the actual state of the dam, the paper puts forward practical and feasible opinionsand suggestions, and calculates the reasonable deformation monitoring index, with thepurpose of ensuring Wuchuan-sha in the safe operation.This paper focused on the following:(1) Firstly, according to actual types of monitoring instrument and distribution of thedam, the prototype observation data of Wuchuan-sha operation period were summarized andanalyzed, and from the analysis results the deformation and temperature variation of the damcan be provided to preliminary master the deformation law and to make early preparation forparameter inversion analysis of the bedrock and body of the dam; Moreover, the multiplestepwise regression analysis method was employed to simulate the deformation trend of thedam, and form the displacement and deformation statistical model to provide scientific basisfor decision-making of arch dam deformation control and operation.(2) Using ANSYS thermal-structure coupling analysis to conduct the3D numericalsimulation of the Wuchuan-sha arch dam, and according to the actual monitoring data, theparameters of different dam body and bedrock partitions were inversion analyzed to provide agroup of appropriate data for the elastic modulus value and FEM inversion model.(3) According to different load combination conditions in the standard, using ANSYS toreanalysis the temperature stress field of the arch dam, feedback analyze the condition of theinversion model, and check the stress and operation state of arch dam and provide accurateassessment. In this part, the arch dam stress concentration problems which calculated by FEMand the stress control standard were discussed corresponding, and the safe operation of thearch dam were proposed.(4) According to the stress and operation state of the Wuchuan-sha dam, the3D FEMtheories were employed to simulate and analysis the change process of the water pressure, temperature and aging displacement components, thus provide corresponding deformationmonitoring index of the arch dam more precisely to make sure the normal management andsafety operation of the dam.The essence of this thesis research is a set of monitoring analysis, inversion analysis andnumerical analysis which provide a comprehensive analysis of the Wuchuan-sha dam. Andthis adapts to the needs of the field monitoring and numerical analysis, and it combined withnumerical analysis and inversion analysis to form a accurate analysis system of the dam, toprovide comprehensive analysis of the arch dam. It has great significance both in theory andpractical engineering applications.
