Adding nano-particles into refrigeration system can improve performance of it andenhance the lubricating property of lubricant oil, because of nano-particles’ specialcharacteristics. The parameters of the key parts and performance of refrigeration of adomestic refrigerator with nano-particles in the lubricant oil was investigated experimentally.Adding ween-60and Span-40dispersants into carbon nanotubes-OH, carbonnanotubes-COOH, fullerene, and then adding them into the lubricant oil to makenano-particles-lubricant oil mixtures by first, NO.1:carbon nanotubes-OH-lubricant oilmixture, NO.2:carbon nanotubes-COOH-lubricant oil mixture, NO.3: fullerene-lubricant oilmixture with dispersants and NO.4: fullerene-lubricant oil mixture. Because the preparationand stability of the mixture is very important to its characteristics, we must evaluate themixture stability before putting it to compressor by observing sedimentation andspectrophotography and the two methods show that NO.3is more stable.Put the NO.3: fullerene-lubricant oil mixture with dispersants into the compressor as thelubricant oil. The parameters of the key parts of a domestic refrigerator with R600a/MO andR600a/MO/C60system were investigated experimentally.Basing on GB/TB8059.1~3-1995, the performance of refrigeration of a domesticrefrigerator with R600a/MO and R600a/MO/C60system were investigated experimentally inthe laboratory of China Research Institute for household Electric Appliances. This paper analyzed the experimental results and concluded the master cinclusions: to theR600a/MO system, the energy consumption of R600a/MO/C60system was saved17.1%, andthe temperature of compressor case is lower.
