After Northridge earthquake in1994and the kobe earthquake in1995, because centerbrace buckling, the use of the center brace buildings all damage. After the buckling-restrainedbrace repeated loading test, proved the buckling-restrained brace either from the energydissipation and behavior are better than conventional support. According to the BRBcomponent test, got the yield strength and stiffness of BRB, guiding the analysis and design;In BRBCF experiment, the concrete frame installed the BRB shows good deformation abilityand resist lateral stiffness, Realize the BRB takes the lead in the goal of yield energyconsumption, frame work performance improved significantly and connectors position stableperformance, no connected damage occurred, but the column first happened damage.According to the test results of the framework, BRBCF should according to the first levelframework design, consider the fittings to the constraints of the column bottom strengthenrole, will further weaken the frame beams, reinforcement frame column all high encryption;According to the BRB component test and BRBCF test reinforcement test model was built inthe70s, model for two layers of three spans and two frames. use the attached with concreteframe and install the buckling of the reinforcement method support the pseudo static test,according to the test results indicated that some listed conclusion: the reinforcement methodgreatly improved the original frame work performance of concrete, the seismic capabilityobvious enhanced, the lateral stiffness and resistance to deformation capacity is good, driftratio of the first layer is1/48, meet the requirements of the code1/50, BRB played aimportant role in the energy consumption, both plant steel and shear key connecting methodsare safe and reliable, Their are little relative displacement between out frame and the originalframe, the test does not appear connection damage.
