This article introduced developmental history of energy saving technology. And it introduced electronic control positive flow system specially. We developed an excavator with this technology, and did field test.This positive flow system was product by KAWASAKI. It was made up of a main pump which had positive flow control function and total power control function, a main valve which had8spools with combination, regeneration, anti-excursion, priority, and remote control valve.The mathematical model was found after analyzed the positive flow control system. And the simulation model was found which used AMESim. The simulation was done with this model and software.The field test for the real machine was done after simulation. We got some conclusions after field test. Compare with negative flow control, positive flow control has quickly respond, more controllability, higher efficiency, lower diesel consume.
