With chloride environment, in order to ensure the service life of the concrete structures,anti-chloride high performance concrete is the first way to be selected. But for theenvironment is particularly bad, or the service life of concrete structures is particularly long,only with anti-chloride high performance concrete can’t meet the requirement. So the concretestructures need to adopt additional corrosion protective measures. For example, epoxy coating,one of the surface treatment technologies, is commonly used as additional corrosionprotective measure. At present, the relevant standards about testing the surface treatmenttechnologies are usually using ordinary concrete as base, but anti-chloride high performanceconcrete. And also, the comparativing study about different surface treatment technologies isvery less. Therefore, the corresponding research for surface treatment technologies is be need,so as to give suggested uses for concrete structure.For solve these problems, this paper studied of five kinds of surface treatment technologiesused alone solutions and four kinds of surface treatment technologies of composite solutionsapplication to anti-chloride high performance concrete for improving the durability of theconcrete. And then, giving suggested uses of surface treatment technologies for concretestructures.Firstly, this paper studied the short-term performance influence and long-term performanceinfluence of the four kinds of surface treatment technologies application to anti-chloride highperformance concrete on the durability of the concrete, including epoxy coating, silane cream,cementitious capillary crystalline waterproofing materials (CCCW) and controlledpermeability formwork (CPF). The experimental results show that:1) Application of epoxy coating to anti-chloride high performance concrete for itsdurability improvement effect is very obvious. In the beginning of application epoxy coatingto concrete, the results of improved electric charge method experiment shows the6h chargevalue below100C and the chloride diffusion coefficient is almost zero. But as time goes on,epoxy coating’s performance to anti-chloride high performance concrete appeareddeterioration. 2) Silane cream’s performance depends on the penetration depth of through the surface ofconcrete. Silane cream’s penetration depth on anti-chloride high performance concrete in2~3mm. The results of improved electric charge method experiment showed that theimproving anti-chloride high performance concrete of resistance to chloride is not clear. Butthe water absorption test experiment’s results show that the water absorption of concrete withsilane cream decreased obviously. And as time goes on, silane cream’s performance toanti-chloride high performance concrete appeared deterioration.3) Smear type of CCCW and infiltration of CCCW’s experiments show that applicationCCCW to anti-chloride high performance concrete for its durability improvement is no effect.So CCCW is not suitable for anti-chloride high performance concrete with high volumemineral admixture.4) Application of CPF to anti-chloride high performance concrete for its durabilityimprovement effect is obvious. As time goes on, CPF’s effects to anti-chloride highperformance concrete of resistance to chloride is increased. The results of CPF’s experimentshow that CPF can play a great role in anti-chloride high performance concrete ofwater-binder ratio not greater than0.36to improve concrete of resistance to chloride.On the basis of experimental results above, this paper studied the short-term performanceinfluence and long-term performance influence of the four kinds of composite using surfacetreatment technologies application to anti-chloride high performance concrete on thedurability of the concrete. The experimental results show that:1) Application of the composite use of silane cream with epoxy coating and composite useof CPF with epoxy coating to anti-chloride high performance concrete for its durabilityimprovement effect is very obvious. And with the silane cream and CPF’s effect, these twoprograms are greatly prolonging the surface treatment technologies’ service life.2) Application of the composite use of CPF with silane cream and composite use of CPFwith smear type of CCCW to anti-chloride high performance concrete for its durabilityimprovement are not suitable, because of these two programs are can’t show up the effect ofsilane cream and smear type of CCCW.Finally, according to the results of laboratory experiments, analysising the nine kinds ofsurface treatment technologies using scheme’ character of service and economical efficiency. And then, with the design service life of concrete structures and the level of environmentaleffects, this paper gives the epoxy coating, silane cream, CPF and the composite use of CPFwith epoxy coating these four programs of surface treatment technologies scheme usingsuggestions for new concrete structures and existing concrete structure.
