Involute cylindrical gear transmission is the most widely used in the various geardrive type. The accuracy of involute cylindrical gear design is based on technicalrequirements for products, following the technical specifications and certification of anew generation of product geometry and other national standards. The new2008Involute cylindrical gear accuracy standards system, the project, terminology,definitions and symbols with the old GB formed a great contrast, many gear workersfor some time been difficult to adapt to, so in the teaching and the actualproductionstructural disorder, old and new mix of standards, the project is too muchor missing, old and new mix and match the chaos of the project, is not conducive tothe new national standard to implement.Changes in the old and the new GB system, attract domestic and foreign research,innovative way to establish the new national standard involute cylindrical gearsdesign CAD system. The system features include the following aspects:1)Calculatethe individual circular pitch deviation, total accumulative pitch deviation, tooth profiletotal deviation and spiral total deviation;2) Calculate the Normal tooth thickness,Normal chordal thickness, Normal length and Normal length Cross the ball away from;3) Inverted bevel gear cross-kick from the parametric calculations.The system is based on the CAD system of the visual interface of MATLAB GUIdevelopment module, in the system development process, mainly the followingaspects:1)Through the literature review summarized all levels of precision gearsdeviation to allow the calculation formula, merged into all levels of precision gearsdeviation allowable value set of formulas;2)Discuss the new GB minimum backlashand maximum backlash;3)Completion of normal tooth thickness, normal chordalthickness, the normal line length, the cross-bar size and the limits of deviation of thefour included in the backlash to the formula set;4)Utilization ball measurementsderived inverted bevel cross the ball away from the formula;5)According to theprinciple of Newton iteration, using MATLAB software address anti involute functionaccuracy to solve difficult problems;6)Establishment of a database, the amount of ball diameter, minimum backlash, radial runout and cut into tolerance data call.Examples show that the CAD system to can avoid tedious manual designcalculations and lookup tables, parameters and simplicity of design to achieve thedesign of cylindrical gears so that improve the work efficiency and save a lot of time.
