Drug’s automatic sorting technology in health care advanced industrializedcountries has been more widely used, at present, but it was not too much in our country.However, with the our country’s comprehensive national strength and health care, thedevelopment of social security, medical institutions’construction of informationtechnology was accelerating the demand for the drug’s automatic sorting technologyhas become more urgent. Our country’s automated sorting equipment for drugsdevelopment is relatively slow, if our use traditional design methods, not only thedesign cycle is long, but also production costs is high, and can not meet the user’scustom needs and the fierce market competition. Therefore, we urgently need for aviable efficient way to reuse existing experience in order to improve product designquality and efficiency. In response to this demand, the modular design concept wasdraw into the automatic sorting system for drugs, based on the general method ofmodular division, design, modeling.etc of the automatic sorting system for drugs wereresearched according to the characteristics of it. A automatic sorting system for drugsmodularity design system was developed by Soliworks.The main research contects are as follows:1.The research background and significance are illustrated firstly, and the researchstatus of automatic sorting technology for drugs home and abroad are reviewed, themodular design concept and significacance are introduced, the supporting theories andthe modular design principle are studied.2.This paper researched automatic sorting system for drugs’s modular devisionmethod, the function module devision method based on functional decomposition isgiven, and used in automatic sorting system for drugs’s function modular devision.3.The main types of automatic sorting system for drugs was summarized, thefunctional and structural was analysed, in which the automatic sorting system for drugsappropriateness to modularity was analyzed, then the modularity strategies and thespecific method of design ware identified. The modular devision was completed, avariety of programs was designed for each modular, and assembled several typesautomatic sorting system for drugs.4.This paper used object-oriented visual programming language Visual Basic6.0for secondary development of Solidworks, designed automatic sorting system fordrugs’s modular design system, achieved the rapid design of parts and assemblies.
