Demand Responsive Transit System Framework Design And Adaptability Analysis Key Technical Research

With the urbanization process of Chinese cities speeding up, and the expansion of the city size, and a large population flow into the city, the cities of China are facing great challenges of public sources and environment. With the rapid development of economic, the travel pattern of cities is changing from non-motorization to motorization. With the expansion of cities, the prosperity development of the real estate industry, and the increase of environment requirements constantly promote people tending to living at suburban, it lead to travel distance increase rapidly and travel time significantly extend. Demand responsive transit system (DRTS) is a kind of public transport which is between conventional public transport and private car. It is a new kind of flexible travel mode. It needs further study of DRTS based on the city scale, population distribution, public transit network density, road environmental conditions, and passenger flow distribution and traffic demand development plan and ITS technology applications.This paper focus on DRTS’s adaptability in public transit based on the research achievements of domestic and foreign scholars to DRTS, according to actual conditions of urban residents and their travel demand, with DRTS development level and environment. This paper analyzes the adaptability of DRTS in domestic city, according to Chinese urban characteristics.This paper first research DRTS in domestic and international development, and study DRTS mechanism, mainly including operation mode, route type, and traffic tools. Second, combing theory and practice, the recent and future, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, using "system" model to view and explore DRTS development mode. And building the overall framework, and further analyze its logic structure. At the same time, analyze DRTS key technical parameters thoroughly, and construct It forms a comprehensive adaptability evaluation model to analyze DRTS adaptability and explore new ideas and methods to suit DRTS development. At last, based on the status of Jinan public transport, analyze the macro and micro adaptability of DRTS in Jinan and put forward the reference of DRTS.
