This topic is with the combination of a large domestic vehicle industrytechnology center practical issue. Electric vehicle as the research object, analyses itscollision safety problems and solutions, and in order to get a reasonable and effectivebearing structure to improve the electric vehicle crashworthiness, electric vehiclesafety is incorporated into the vehicle body conceptual design phase, using multipleobjective topology optimization to study the electric automobile body design method.In view of electric car weight of large low centroid and carrying concentrated masscharacteristics, in order to improve its frontal crashworthiness, considering the staticand dynamic properties to carry out multi objective topology optimization.Based on the SIMP theory, a compromise programming method is used to definethe static multi objective function, the average frequency method to define thedynamic vibration frequency target function, and through the standardization ofmethods for different target function is defined to eliminate the order of magnitudedifference, using the optimality criteria method to update the design variablecalculation, obtained the clear vehicle body structure, the obvious load path andcomply with the design requirements optimization results, and carries on the staticanalysis, modal analysis and Simulation of frontal crash analysis, to validate thefeasibility of the design, determine the electric vehicle frontal crash safety researchmethods and means of realization.This study is not only helpful to automobile enterprises to solve the practicalproblems in the development of electric vehicle, but also provides a vehicle bodymulti-objective optimization design method, the method for electric automobile bodyparts in the next step the detailed design and other vehicle body development anddesign to provide ideas and references. In addition, due to the current domesticelectric vehicle frontal crash safety research is less, so for the research on electricvehicle frontal crash safety related research work also has a certain reference value,conduce to our country electric vehicle passive safety performance improvement.
