With the development of china, more and more new bridges have been done, but most of the old bridges are not over their use ages. So a lot of questions are coming through. Such as:the original design of capacity can not reach the request of traffic because of significant growth in traffic volume, the problems of design or construction, the cracks of the bridge, the failure of the pier and other diseases. These diseases are serious threat to the safety of the bridge.In highway Bridges especially highway Bridges concrete hollow slab bridge because of its simple structure, convenient and suitable for standardization construction has been widely adopted. Concrete hollow slab bridge in highway Bridges in proportion of the about is around70%, because concrete hollow slab bridge greater proportion, the probability of problems is bigger also, these bridges of problems if going to rebuild, that is quite not economical, so bridge reinforcement and reconstruction is a feasible method, so at present concrete hollow slab bridge reinforcement technology research seems more important and urgent.By studying the basic principle of bridge reinforcement and some methods of common concrete hollow slap bridge reinforcement (increase section, carbon fiber reinforced, paste steel reinforcement, prestressing reinforcement).We got a universal principle:any method is always in order to reduce the tensile stress in the main girder under or increasing the main girder under tensile stress of ability, improve the bearing capacity of the bridge.This paper, based on Daguannan highway second contract section Xujiawang viaduct20m prestressed concrete hollow slab bridge reinforcement example. Studying three common methods of strengthening the bridge reinforcement (carbon fiber reinforced, paste steel reinforcement, prestressing reinforcement), combined with the basic principle of bridge reinforcement, we give a new method of strengthening the bridge reinforcement hoop reinforcement. Using Dr. Bridge v3.0,we analyzed and compared four methods (carbon fiber reinforced, paste steel reinforcement, prestressing reinforcement, hoop reinforcement) before and after reinforcement. We hope it can give some advice in future bridge reinforcement and hoop reinforcement can be wide-used in future instance.
