It is the premise of the vehicle safety to drive the car in accordance with the wishes of the driver; it is the most basic principles of the vehicle safety to drive the car straight line without wandering. Due to the factors of four-wheel alignment parameter, suspension system, steering system, tire and assembly precision, the car may be have the potential dangers of driving wandering. Vehicle driving wandering system, which integrated in the stage of the road test, measured with vehicle driving wandering efficiently and accurately by the cars off the assembly line.Through the analysis of the advantage and dis advantage of the traditional driving wandering testing method, the GPS driving wandering testing method and applied CCD image sensor driving wandering testing method, a way to test vehicle driving wandering using FBG sensors to trigger and acquire data is proposed. This method is to place a row of sensor array in the vertical direction on the testing road50meters apart, capture the physical orientation of testing car through FBG sensor array and calculate the direction and amount of driving wandering. It has the advantage of24-hours uninterrupted testing without light, hardly affected by factors of environment end weather and so on.It is proposed the modular division project of software and hardware. Hardware system is divided into sensing system equipment and communication system equipment by function. Sensing system equipment is responsible for the sensor installation, data collection, transmission and analysis; communications system equipment is responsible for the transmission of test signals and test results data. Software system is divided into interrogator data processing module, wandering control policy module, wireless network communication module, production network communication module and main program preface module of five parts.FBG sensors and interrogator is the core component of the driving wandering test system. The article describes in detail the optical principle of the FBG sensors and several extensive used multiplexing technologies, determines the use of wavelength division multiplexing technology for layout and measurement of the sensor array combined with interrogator. Made a comparative analysis on sensor placement project and interrogator location project, design a reasonable project according to the actual situation of driving wandering test.By the design and analysis of the hardware and software, it is obtained using FBG sensors to test vehicle driving wandering is available in theory, and fully meet the national and enterprise requirement.
