The main causes of bruise, even failure, on the aircraft structure is atmosphericturbulence in the high altitude. Atmospheric turbulence has two forms, one is windshear and another is gust. Mainly, the wind shear jeopardize plane in the low altitude,but in the high altitude gust has the strong influence on the static strength of plane.Consequently, the research on the static strength of plane for the high altitudeatmospheric turbulence has the important significance. The main research of this paperis that working out the mechanism of pressure gradient on the surface of windshield,finding out the maximal force on the windshield carried by atmospheric turbulence,predicting the failure behavior of windshield structure with different condition,exploring the structure damage rules, mechanism and influencing factors on staticstrength of the aircraft which are usd by to the design, product and use the plane.The research of this paper begin on the system of “Structure Simulation-StateSimulation-Behavior Prediction”. It is completed that building the geometricmodeling followed the multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) thought, meshingthe complex geometric structure of windshield successfully for the Finite elementcalculation. The equation of Navier-Stokes is governing equation and FLUENT is thecalculating software. We computed the Mechanics Responses on the surface of theaircraft, predicted the failure and damage of windshield structure with the differentspeed parameters, gust direction.Based on a lot of coupling calculation and analysis on different operatingconditions, the paper has concluded that the windshield will under the largest pressureeven breakdown by the gust with vertical60°and lateral30°in the subsonic flight. Ifthe speed catched the sound, windshield will under the largest pressure by the gust withboth45°direction. For fluid-solid couping computer method is studied in the mostdangerous conditons,it realized the link of "fluid mechanics-structuremechanics-microstructure mechanics"...
