With the rapid development of economy in our country,the general technologyof steel structure had improved vastly, and had been used in construction oflarge-scale bridge extensively. The anchor plate in the cable-girder anchorage zone ofa cable-stayed bridge is a very important part of a bridge for its’ stress concentrationand complex structure, and its safety and durability determines the life of the entirebridge. It is inevitable to make welding residual stress with heating and cooling cyclein the anchor plate welding, and its existence in anchor plate has a direct impact onthe bearing capacity of the board. It is very necessary to predict the stress state ofanchor plate in welding and the residual stress accurately to ensure security andreliability of the anchor plate. Based on the summary of relative works which did bypredecessors, it did the real-time3-Dynamic simulation of the welding temperatureand stress field in anchor plate by the finite element method, and analysis results andthe calculation results are in accordance with experimental results mostly.Firstly, the paper illuminated what is welding residual stress and the basic theoryof welding residual stress, and then discussed the principle and process of elementsimulation. In the process of the numerical simulation of anchor plate welding, usingthe thermal-structure coupling function of ANSYS finite element software and themethod of “Birth and Death”(changing elements type)to simulate the weldingprocess,temperature field and stress field.Finally the3-d welding temperature fieldand the3-d welding stress field of the real-time distribution and final distribution stateof the welding residual stress of the anchor plate were presented by post-solution.The paper established a feasible dynamic simulation method on3-d weldingtemperature field and residual stress field of welded seam of the anchor plate in thecable-girder anchorage zone of a cable-stayed bridge, supplying some guiding valuesto the3-d welding temperature field and the residual stress analysis of similar weldingstructure, meanwhile, providing the reference value to introduce the finite elementmethod to welding mechanics in practical engineering.
