The small hollow concrete block appear with the promotion of building materials energy-saving and environmental protection, in recent years have been widely used in the construction of rural housing. Due to the limitations of the rural economy, did not get the guidance and supervision, and the small block buildings not set the details of seismic design, all of this reason cause many of the low buildings collapsed in the "3.10" Yingjiang earthquake.The seismic precautionary intensity of Yingjiang is7, the design parameters of ground motion is0.15g. According to the Cord for Seismic Design of Buildings(GB50011-2010), table7.2.1show that multi-storey small hollow concrete block building can construction to six layers, height of18m.This article due to that the building of Yingjiang is one or two layers, it is no need to set the details of seismic design strictly in accordance with the Cord for Seismic Design of Buildings. The first reason is that limited to the local economic, it is not easy to be adoption; The second reason is that strictly in accordance with the Cord for seismic design of buildings is not economy. So this article study several simple details of seismic design for new construction buildings; and several reinforcement methods for previous buildings; and design several walls that have set the simple details of seismic design, the walls will be used for the pseudo-static test.(This test will be done in the Kunming University of science and technology)During the paper writing, author have gone to Yingjiang for research in March4to March8,2012. Two tasks have completed, the first was testing compressive strength of masonry mortar by penetration resistance method; the second was inspection concrete small hollow block of compressive strength by rebound method. The result will be shown in chapter two.Chapter one introduces the development process of concrete small hollow block in china, the advantages and disadvantages of concrete small hollow block, the statistics of seismic profiles and the earthquake disaster of Yunnan province and the active faults and the tectonic blocks of Yunnan province. Chapter two introduces the Richter5.8earthquake of Yingjiang, the local application of concrete small hollow block, the damage of concrete small hollow block in the earthquake, the research results of Yingjiang, the implications of Yingjiang earthquake. Chapter three introduces the simple details of seismic design and the simple reinforcement methods, these simple methods is tailored to local situation. Chapter four introduces the preparations for the pseudo-static test, contains the following:test content, test preparation, the production of wall, wood properties test and test methods. Chapter five introduces the conclusions and the recommendations.
