LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas), is a clean, efficient energy. More and more peopleof all ages are favor of it. And many countries have LNG as the fuel of choice. With theuncontrolled exploitation of global resources, LNG has become a scarcity of cleanenergy. Container storage of the LNG tanks for the storage of LNG security isincreasingly important. Seismic response of the LNG tank at home and abroad, most ofthe research results for the seismic response of LNG storage tanks under horizontalseismic analysis of the few studies on the seismic response of LNG storage tanks tovertical seismic action. Therefore, the vertical seismic excitation full containment LNGstorage tank outside the tank seismic response were studied and analyzed.Instance of the reference works of this article, using the ADINA finite element software,establish a finite element model of the volume10000m3LNG tank. According to fullcontainment LNG storage tanks, study the modal analysis and vertical seismic action ofseismic response of the LNG tank concrete outer tank. The main works are the following:First, a brief introduction to the LNG storage tank seismic analysis of domestic andinternational development and research status, the use of large commercial finite elementsoftware, the ADINA finite element model of the LNG storage tank within the outer tank andfluid overall system based on actual data, LNG storage tank, static analysis, calculation andthe displacement and stress distribution of the LNG storage tank as the basis of the analysis offluid-structure interaction under earthquake loads.Followed, respectively, the establishment of the outer wall and the inner tank liquidstorage finite element model, take the modal analysis, and calculation of the LNG storagetank10frequency and modal, modal analysis to extract the LNG storage tank LNG storagetank at no load and full load in case of order since the vibration frequency and vibration mode,vibration analysis and dynamic characteristics of the LNG storage tank system to provide abasis.Last, the acceleration of earthquake input method, select four types of site seismic waves,for LNG storage tanks under vertical seismic ground motion analysis, seismic responseanalysis of the LNG storage tank within a tank full of different earthquake outside the tank inthe tank case.
