The degree of attention of the international community to the energy crisis and environmental issues improves, it promotes the rapid development of new clean energy, like wind power generation, solar power generation. In recent years, due to increasing wind power penetration, the interaction and influence between wind farms and the power system has more and more strong. Wind power is random fluctuant and uncontrollable, and the wind farms are mostly connected to the power grids are the weak area of network structure in China, weak link to single wiring way, therefore, wind power brings serious effects to the stability of power grid, the impact to voltage stability of the accessed regional grid should not be ignored,In this thesis, present situation of wind power generation is introduced at home and abroad. the wind speed quartation model, wind turbine model (air dynamics model, shafting mathematical model and variable pitch control model), generator transient mathematical model, the converter model, and reactive power compensation model are built. The paper bases on actual operating data of a regional power grid of Xinjiang containing wind farms, power grid simulation model containing wind power generator model is built based on DIgSILENT/PowerFactory,load flow calculation and voltage are analyzed, and the current situation and existing problems of the grid are analyzed and discussed; the impact of wind farms on the transient voltage stability of grid is analyzed to use time domain simulation method; comprehensive measures to improve transient voltage stability of power system containing wind power is simulated and studied.The study results show that reactive power distribute balanced relatively in the whole grid,and due to heavy load, several transformer substations operating voltage level is low in the eastern region; through simulation, the double-fed wind power generator does not need to absorb reactive power from the grid, its transient voltage stability is better than asynchronous wind power generator; to use series dynamic braking resistors (SDBR), to install dynamic reactive compensation device SVC can increase effectively the transient voltage stability of general asynchronous wind power generator.
