| With the acceleration of the urbanization process in China, some landfill located in the suburbs has been closing to or entering into the city, which has become a serious source of city pollution. On one hand, the disused landfill is urgent to be closed to eliminate the pollution. On the other hand, Public urban recreational space is comparatively scarce in China. In current period of our country insisting on the road of sustainable development, how to reuse the land and update the landscape of waste landfill sites, so that the existing resources and energy can be fully recycled. Respecting urban historical context and spirit of site, designing landscape with local conditions to restoration the ecological environment and make landscape renewable and sustainable, has turned to be a focus of recent researches in related fields.This paper interprets the concept of relevant nouns including landfill, city park, sustainable landscape and so on, then discusses relevant theories of sustainable landscape design and research of waste landfill site landscape design at home and abroad. On this basis, actuality of landfill and case of landscape design in Harbin are analyzed from the angle of sustainable development. The main problems of landfill on construction and operation is pointed out, as well the main problems of practice of waste landfill site landscape design is discussed in Harbin. Moreover, it suggestions that building public urban recreational spaces is the best way for waste landfill site land use. It sums up landscape design objectives and principles of waste landfill, and proposes specific methods of sustainable landscape design of waste landfill site including countermeasures of material elements and technical elements of landscape design. Under the concept of sustainable landscape design, this paper takes the southwest of Harbin waste landfill site for example, then makes clear the orientation and construction phases of landscape design of the waste landfill site by analyzing the present site situation. Some methods and countermeasures of sustainable landscape design are advanced which expects to provide reference for waste landfill site landscape design for the future. |
