Constant pressure air supply system is widely used in pneumatic servo system, pneumatic position servo system, pneumatic artificial muscle with advantages of low cost, safety, reliability, ant-pollution, simple structure, easy to maintain and so on.In this paper the technique of constant pressure air supply system is analyzed in detail, based on which the large flow pressure regulator’s structure is designed, then the system is mathematically modeled, simulated and analyzed. Furthermore, constant pressure air supply system based on isothermal chamber test platform is built and software is designed, followed by the analysis of the controlling effect of the system and the setting of PID parameters.In chapter1, the development of pneumatic technology and associated technology of constant pressure air supply system, are briefly introduced, as well as the development situation. Based on above job, the significance, content and objective of this research are given.In charter2, the composition and working principle of constant pressure air supply system is firstly analyzed, based on which the large flow pressure regulator are structured analyzed and simulated, then the simulation of the whole system is done.In chapter3, constant pressure air supply system based on isothermal chamber is built with the above job, while the hardware design is briefly introduced and the key technology made during coding and control strategy are detailed described.In chapter4, a series of experiments are made with the platform set forth in chapter3, and the results of open loop control and closed loop control are compared, by which the best PID parameters are set to get ideal results.
