Polyurethane-steel sandwich plate system is composed of two steel face plates and polyurethane core layer, the elastomer core material and the face plate surface to form a strong adhesive composite structure.The market foreground of the structure using is very extensive,such as marine,bridge,military engineering and so on.polyurethane-steel sandwich plate system bridge deck is a using of the system in bridge.Nowadays it is outside the country for the bridge deck, bridge deck replacement and repair of bridge deck reinforcement and other applications. As polyurethane-steel sandwich plate system bridge deck is an innovative technology,a further research of the decks is necessary.At present, because of the polyurethane-steel sandwich structure applied bridge deck not in the country, and no corresponding design specifications and standards, the paper based on a foreign bridge.Three level finite element models of a polyurethane-steel sandwich plate system bridge deck are presented in this thesis.1.The3D shell model of the polyurethane-steel sandwich plate system bridge deck includes single and double vehicle load.This model can consider the decks bending and deflection action on different direction and location.2.A second level model can be mainly made up for considering lateral load distribution characteristics of polyurethane-steel sandwich plate system bridge.And then,some detailed finite element analysis were used to further investigate the load distribution of SPS bridge deck systems,a steel multi-girder bridge and a concrete multi-girder bridge were studied.3.A third level model can be developed for considering weld residual stress of panel assembly connection and made up of3D block element,it’s a thermal-structure sequentially couple field analysis.The stress spectra obtained from this model can be used to study ultimate strength and fatigue strength of the connection,and to predict the life of the SPS bridge decks.All these studies aim to deeply understand structure characters of Polyurethane-steel sandwich plate system,the results can be provided reference for the design and research of the system.
