| The high performance&high quality fluorescent lamp ballast and LED lighting productsbecome more popular with the lighting market development. The unity function ballast is nolonger meeting the needs of the market. This paper was written according to the market re-search to develop a new dimmable CFLi that base on current20W CFLi.This design used universal20W fluorescent tubes with the original photoelectric outputcharacteristics and added the dimmer function. As a replacement products, the outer dimen-sions of new product have no obvious different with original products or it will be difficultinstall with the original lamp lanterns. The key of this paper studies is a new type of dimma-ble fluorescent electronic ballast scheme. The scheme is required considering about productlife, circuit power factor, line harmonic, electromagnetic interference and energy efficiencylabel, product safety, devices temperature, comfortable and EN/IEC standards.Based on the fluorescent tubes lighting theory, ballast working theory, fluorescent dim-mer theory and topology structure, this paper chose the L6574fluorescent lamp dimming totalsolution from ST. L6574is a success solution that working with FM control method. By op-timizing circuit design the fluorescent lamp lumen output can continuously adjusted from10to100%range according to the environment needs. And the circuit wiring, start-up circuit,EMI filter circuit is optimized base on EN/IEC acquirements.The samples of the paper were tested for performance, safety dimming function, EMI re-sistance, start-up performance and abnormal protection according to the EN/IEC and internalrequirements. Then go on optimizing the design base on the test result. Finally, this designachieve the10-100%light output continue dimming function under230V±10%AC input,burning life reached6000hours B50, and the EN/IEC requirements. This product can be useddirectly replace all20W ordinary CFLi. At present already import to the mass production. |
