Interlocking concrete pavement has been successfully applied in Europe, America, Japanand South Africa and other countries, there are many merits of the kind of pavement such asstrength and durability of structure, low cost of construction and convenience of maintenance,especially manual paving, do not need to have the specialized labor. Based on the abovecharacteristic of the interlocking block pavement, it is suitable to use the pavement in currenthighway construction in our country, this paper carried out the research of the interlockingblock pavement structure design and construction technology.First of all, by economic comparison of the interlocking block pavement, flexiblepavement and rigid pavement with equivalent structure, analyze the initial construction costand repair cost of the interlocking block pavement under different traffic conditions, that fromthe economic aspect, the interlocking block provides a more attractive option than rigid andflexible pavements; By investigating and analyzing the reasons of the damage of the concreteinterlocking block pavement, evaluate the repair time of interlocking block pavement, providethe reliable basis for repair time of the interlocking block pavement.Secondly, in order to mechanistic analysis of the interlocking block pavement under theaction of vehicle loads, established the three dimensional finite element model of theinterlocking block pavement structure, combined with the construction requirements, Based onthe three dimensional finite element method, the behavior of block pavement under the effectsof different block shape, size and laying method, different thickness and modulus of base andblock and subgrade were investigated. Provide a reasonable basis for the rational design ofinterlocking block pavement structure.Then, analyze the control index of the pavement structure design, puts forward the controlindex concrete interlocking block pavement structure design, and tells the story of concreteinterlocking block pavement structure design method, then check the rationality of the structuredesign by the finite element model.Finally, explore the construction technology and related technical requirements of theinterlocking block pavement, and propose the quality control of each construction process inthe process of construction and Construction quality inspection standard.
