In view of the elegant, gorgeous, durable marble, granite widely used in the handrail production of buildings, auditoriums, hotels and other places, therefore, the architectural decoration industry in urgent need of efficient, automated stair railing of stone processing technology and equipment in order to solve low efficiency, quality instability problems that is processed mainly rely on manual and machine.Through the analysis of handrail surface structure features and processing, the processing technology of new stone handrail is proposed with the method of integrated innovation.Combined with a modular design method and reconfigurable technological ideas, a kind of stone handrail efficient, automatic processing of special equipment is developed.According to finite element theory, and using ANSYS Workbench Environment software, the column, which is the key components of the special processing equipment, has been checked by strength theory, and the optimization objective has been determined. Then, a multi-objective has been optimized. After optimization, the column material has been reduced and equipment performance has been improved.Using of3D-coordinates measuring machine to map stair handrail of marble, and cross-section datas and images are obtained. Meanwhile, according to the principle of curve fitting, using the curve fitting toolbox of Matlab software, the mapping data have been fitted by polynomial, piecewise polynomial and cubic spline interpolation principle. According to the fitting requirements, the surface model of handrail surface section has been established, and laid the foundation for the fast and precise manufacturing of forming tools and CNC machining.According to the principle of orthogonal experiments and using of the dynamometer, each cutting force has been measured at different cutting parameters, and made figures between cutting force respectively with cutting parameters. In addition, using regression analysis of Minitab software, the mathematical model of each cutting force is established. Combined with the removal rate of material, the best combinations of process parameters have been determined, and it have important guiding and reference significance for developing the process parameters of the handrail.Through the research, the handrail processing technology have been improved, the 3D model of processing equipment has been established, and the process parameters of processing handrail have been optimized, and it provides a basis for efficient, high-gloss, automated processing of the stone handrail.
