In this paper,takingYingjiang Zhekan marble mine(Regional metamorphic marble mineral deposit),Dongma Laoyoufang marble mine(Deposition biolithite mineral deposit) and Xingjie Donggua marble mine(Dynamometamorphic marble mineral deposit) for example, by testing the process performance of the Samples of those three marble mines including decorative properties (color pattern,gloss), mechanical properties (tensile strength,compressive strength,shear strength,flexural strength),durability (hardness,water absorption,acid resistance), investigate the relation of the process performance and Deposit characteristics,genesis,ore mineral composition, structure and construction to select marble mining ore, the best way to provide a theoretical basis for processing.The author analysised the regional geological background,deposits characteristic feature,ore characteristics and genesis of ore deposits of Yingjiang Zhekan marble mine(Regional metamorphic marble mineral deposit),Dongma Laoyoufang marble mine(Deposition biolithite mineral deposit) and Xingjie Donggua marble mine(Dynamometamorphic marble mineral deposit) and made the following major awareness:(1) For carbonate mineral marble, marble colors is related with secondary minerals in rocks and the coloring element of chemical composition of calcite or dolomite. For Xingjie Donggua marble mine in Yunnan Province,formation of a special color, pattern is related with the fault.(2) The composition of rocks and minerals for the same stone, the binding mode of mineral aggregates is closer,the gloss is more and more higher.(3) The binding mode of mineral aggregates is closer,the Shore hardnes figure is higher;conversely, smaller. The size of grains in the marble is smaller,the Shore hardnes figure is higher;conversely, smaller.(4) Dongma Laoyoufang marble mine is sedimentary rock type marble mine. Yingjiang Zhekan marble mine and Xingjie Donggua marble mine are metamorphic marble mines. Mechanical strength of Dongma biolithite marble is higher than the other two marbles. Speculate that it may be due to size Dong Maro youfangtai biolithite marble mineral particles is much smaller than the other two marble mine mineral ore particle size.(5) The study found:the water absorption of metamorphic marble is lower than the sedimentary marble’s, the weathering ability of metamorphic marble is higher than the sedimentary marble’s.(6) After acid corrosion,the gloss of Dongma Laoyoufang biological marble samples is lower than the other samples of other two marble mine. After 28 days of acid corrosion, biological limestone marble sample mass loss rate is higher than the mass loss rate of the other two other marble mine samples. Inferred, Acid resistance of metamorphic marble is stronger than the sedimentary marble’s.(7) Marble has the characteristics of color decorative pattern of uniform distribution,decorative performance better;higher hardness,lower water absorption, stronger acid resistance, durable performance in Regional metamorphic marble mine (Yingjiang Zhekan marble mine).Marble has the characteristics of uneven distribution of colors,poor decorative performance; lower mechanics performance, lower hardness,lower water absorption, stronger acid resistance, durability of the ordinary in Dynamometamorphic marble mine (Xingjie Donggua marble mine).Marble has the characteristics of pattern of uniform color,better decorative performance;higher mechanical strength,lower Hardness, higher bibulous rate,poor acid resistance, poor durability in Deposition biolithite mine (Dongma Laoyoufang marble mine).(8) Regional metamorphism type marble has optimal performance and can be widely used in facing stone, arts and crafts, jewelry, and other fields; Dynamic metamorphism marble processing performance is poor, the decorative pattern color is not uniform, low mechanical strength, durability, not suitable for used as a wide range of decorative facing stone, but because of its gorgeous pattern can be used for crafts, jewelry, and other fields;Sedimentary type biological limestone marble decorative and mechanical performance is better, but the durability is a bit poor, should not be used for outdoor decoration, can be used as interior decoration, handicrafts, jewelry, and other fields.
